In my work, I combine my artistic abilities with my love for home design...breathing new life into old, unloved furniture and furnishings, creating decorative finishes, home staging, theater set painting, and set styling.
My obsession with all things vintage goes back to my childhood. Growing up in an 1850’s farmhouse gave me an early appreciation for antiques. At the age of 15, I stripped my bedroom’s pine floor of paint and decorated with my first ‘vintage’ finds…
an old metal bed frame, painted white and an antique rug purchased
My artistic ability also goes back to my childhood. I was a featured painter in my 1st grade(!) Art Festival, taught summer arts & crafts for our town’s recreational program and enjoyed a full range of art classes thru Jr & Sr High School. I received a BA in Graphic Design and then chose to pursue the field of visual merchandising and retail management, specializing in home furnishings, accents and interior design.
